ASCII_IS_LOWER() / ASCII_IsLower()

Determines whether a character is a lowercase alphabetic character.

Arguments

ch

Character to examine.

Returned Value

DEF_YES,

if character is a lowercase alphabetic character;

DEF_NO,

if character is not a lowercase alphabetic character.

Required Configuration

None.

Notes / Warnings

ISO/IEC 9899:TC2, Section 7.4.1.7.(2) states that “islower() returns true only for the lowercase letters”.

Example Usage

          CPU_CHAR     ch;
          CPU_BOOLEAN  lower;


          ch    = ASCII_CHAR_LATIN_LOWER_G;
          lower = ASCII_IS_LOWER(ch);
