name_dev

Device name

p_err

Pointer to variable that will receive return error code from this function.

FS_ERR_NONE

Partition added.

FS_ERR_NAME_NULL

Argument name_dev passed a NULL pointer.

Or device access error (see section B-4 “Device Error Codes”).

None.

Notes/Warnings

  • Operations on an affected file or volume will fail with an FS_ERR_DEV_CHNGD error.
  • Invalidation will happen automatically following a removable media change.
