µC/Clk requires the presence of a Real Time Operating System (RTOS) if an External timestamp is not used. As mentioned in Directories and Files, µC/Clk is delivered with ports for µC/OS-II and µC/OS-III, but it is possible for µC/Clk to be used with another RTOS by providing appropriate implementations of clk_os.*.
