Determines whether a character is an alphanumeric character.

Arguments

c

Character to examine.

Returned Value

DEF_YES,

if character is an alphanumeric character;

DEF_NO,

if character is not an alphanumeric character.

Required Configuration

None.

Notes / Warnings

ISO/IEC 9899:TC2, Section 7.4.1.1.(2) states that “isalnum() returns true only for the characters for which isalpha() or isdigit() is true”.

Example Usage

          CPU_CHAR     c;
          CPU_BOOLEAN  alpha_num;
           
          c         = ASCII_CHAR_LATIN_UPPER_G;
          alpha_num = ASCII_IS_ALPHA_NUM(c);
