Returned Value

DEF_YES,

if character is a punctuation character;

DEF_NO,

if character is not a punctuation character.

Required Configuration

None.

Notes / Warnings

ISOISO/IEC 9899:TC2, Section 7.4.1.9.(2) states that “ispunct() returns true for every printing character for which neither isspace() nor isalnum() is true”.
