Validate an IPv4 address as a link-local IPv4 address.

Arguments

addr

IPv4 address to validate.

Returned Value

DEF_YES

if IPv4 address is a link-local IPv4 address;

DEF_NO

otherwise.

Required Configuration

None.

Notes / Warnings

IPv4 address must be in host-order.

Link-local IPv4 addresses are any host address in the ‘169.254.’ subnet.
