µC/SMTPc is compliant with all SMTP Server. It was written for target systems running SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is a protocol designed to transfer mail reliably and efficiently. When an SMTP client has a message to transmit, it establishes a two-way transmission channel to an SMTP server. The responsibility of an SMTP client is to transfer mail messages to a SMTP server, or report its failure to do so [RFC 2821].

µC/SMTPc is an add-on product to µC/TCP-IP that implementing part of the following RFC:
