The application is responsible for providing a millisecond timestamp clock with adequate resolution and range to satisfy the minimum/maximum TCP RTO values (see ‘net_bsp.c NetUtil_TS_Get_ms() Note #1a’).µC/TCP-IP includes µC/OS-II and µC/OS-III implementations which use their OS tick counters as the source for the millisecond timestamp.
