The uCµC/OS-II and uCµC/OS-III kernels usually requires a timebase for time related functions to work. On the Zynq-7000 the tick source is always the Cortex-A9 private timer of the current core. On the MicroBlaze it can be a range of soft timers included in your design. See the MicroBlaze Application Development page for details.
